What's Included?
• Pre-tour hotel night in Edinburgh on May 27 • Hotel accommodations throughout the guided tour • Transportation by motorcoach during the tour • Professional Tour Director and local guides • Included sightseeing, admissions and experiences as outlined in the itinerary • Included meals as outlined in the itinerary (9 Breakfasts, 2 Lunches, 7 Dinners) • Airport/hotel transfers associated with our group arrangements • World Travel hosted group experience
**Airfare and optional travel protection are not included in the prices above.
Why does single occupancy cost more?
A significant portion of the tour price is based on hotel accommodations. When two people share a room, that cost is divided between two travelers. A solo traveler has the room entirely to themselves, so the accommodation cost is not being shared.
*Traveling solo? If you'd like to share a room to take advantage of the double-occupancy rate, let us know. World Travel may be able to connect interested solo travelers with one another. Room sharing is not guaranteed, and travelers will make the final decision about whether they'd like to room together.
What should I budget for airfare?
While airfare cannot be quoted this far in advance, we want you to have a realistic idea of the total trip cost when planning. Based on current airfare for comparable travel dates, we recommend budgeting approximately $1,200–$1,600 per person for economy airfare to Scotland.
*This is a planning estimate only and is not a quoted or guaranteed airfare. Actual airfare will be an additional per-person cost and will be provided once 2028 flight schedules and group air options become available.
OPTIONAL TRAVEL PROTECTION
Optional Globus Travel Protection is available for $399 per person. Travel protection provides benefits for certain covered circumstances that may occur before or during your trip. Coverage may include benefits related to trip cancellation or interruption, travel delays, emergency medical expenses and medical transportation, baggage issues and emergency assistance. Complete coverage details, limitations and terms will be provided before purchasing travel protection.
GROUP SPACE & AVAILABILITY
Our initial World Travel group space is limited, and reservations are being accepted on a first-come, first-served basis.
Once our initial group space is filled, additional reservations will be subject to availability and current pricing.
Your space is not confirmed until your reservation is completed and your deposit has been received.
more on AIRFARE
Why isn't airfare included yet?
Airline schedules and pricing for May 2028 have not yet been released, so an accurate airfare price is not available at this time. Rather than build an estimated airfare amount into the trip price now, we will price flights once actual schedules and group air options become available.
World Travel will work to secure a group airfare option for our travelers, with the goal of providing a convenient itinerary and competitive group pricing.
Where will our group fly from?
Our preferred group departure will be from either Austin (AUS) or Houston (IAH). We'll choose between the two based on the best combination of airfare, flight schedules, and routing available for our travel dates.
Do I have to fly with the group?
No. While we'd love to have as much of our group as possible travel together, we understand that Austin or Houston may not work for everyone. If another departure airport or different flight arrangement makes more sense for you, World Travel will work with you individually on your airfare arrangements.
Our planned travel schedule is:
May 26, 2028 — Depart the U.S.
May 27, 2028 — Arrive in Edinburgh
May 28, 2028 — Free day in Edinburgh & tour welcome dinner
May 29-June 6 - Guided Scotland Tour
June 6 - Depart Scotland for the U.S.
*Optional additional nights in Edinburgh and/or Glasgow will be available for travelers who would like to extend their stay.

OUR EXTRA
EDINBURGH DAY
We're arriving in Scotland a day early so we don't have to step off an overnight flight and immediately begin our tour. This also allows for flight delays without missing the start of our tour.
We'll depart the U.S. on May 26, arrive in Edinburgh on May 27, and have May 28 to enjoy Edinburgh before meeting our Tour Director and beginning the official tour that evening.
May 28 is intentionally left open so you can make the day your own.
Golfers can plan a round of golf, while others may choose to visit the Palace of Holyroodhouse, tour the Royal Yacht Britannia, explore Dean Village, enjoy a whisky experience, shop, find a great Scottish pub, or simply spend the day wandering Edinburgh.
World Travel may also organize an optional group activity or outing for anyone who would like to spend part of the day together.
Participation will be completely optional. This is your extra day in Scotland—enjoy it your way!
